Happy moment in creation, dear Void trippers! We are back with our fifth release, and this chapter focuses on the themes of sex and relationship dynamics as observed in the modern times of striving to be a bit more than human. This and the subsequent two releases all focus on the ideas of Transhumanism, and my vision and understanding derived from a background of science fiction reading and anime. Bluntly put, we here at the institute believe in the idea of the universe manifesting to become through its individual Void Vessels™ co-creating in reality.
     Personally, the idea of bionanonic upgrades and LED tattoos, and organic body mods (waiting for my actual catboy-adapt upgrade package) excite me! We will save my full thoughts on this matter for the final “Transhuman Agenda” mini-LP, but before then, let us touch on love, relationships, and sex in the age of Transhumanism.
     The EP opens with a ‘transhuman love affair (æytherspace soundbath mix)’, setting an otherworldly parallel dimension culture vibe. This species has embraced the future in its entirety and transcended the Earth realm universe of Lucidia into the Protolumia universe.
     Next on the EP is ‘simp4u,’ titled after the action of ‘simping’ for someone. To quote Wikipedia, “Simp is an internet slang term describing someone who shows excessive sympathy and attention toward another person, typically someone who does not reciprocate the same feelings, in pursuit of affection or a sexual relationship.” The term gained exponential popularity through the recent pandemic, especially with the rise of OnlyFans content creators.
     My inspiration for this song comes from simping on the amazing catboy CatboiAoi, and lyrically the inspiration was “UwU / I just wanna simp for you.” I’ve made the lyrics a bit less cheesy, more emo, and digestible for the general population not familiar with the act of simping for Catboys. Still, I believe it is an action that is widely carried out by those with more submissive personalities. This leads to an exciting study on relationship dynamics in the modern age, namely, the ideas of dominance and submissiveness within a romantic and sexual relationship (here on out referred to as “dom” and “sub,” respectively).
     Third on the EP is a soulful and romantic deep house cut titled ‘some1:like_U’. Its enticing vocals are delivered by the talented LA actress Karina Junker whose unique, precise, and seductive voice you’ve probably heard on a commercial and never known. Her alluring and sexy delivery in the song draws you in, as you can’t help but long for your someone.
     Lastly, the EP closes with a bit darker of a cut titled ‘pressy (extended ‘I’m peaking’ mix)’ which is a song about the violent nature inherent in the act of sex and penetration, once again analyzing the nature of dominance and submissiveness, while also alluding to the pleasures gained from that aggressive nature, like peaking on pure ecstasy, pressed up to that someone in the act of raw nature.
     The darker nature of ‘pressy’ is a prelude to the second EP in the Transhuman Agenda trilogy ‘(the dark side of the) TRANSHUMAN AGENDA’, exploring the chaos and madness questions that come with the nature of the soul and upgrading the human body. We hope you’re enjoying the journey thus far!
